Did I do my device change correctly?

This is my first post but I want to make sure I did my device swap the correct way. I have a company provided BB (not 100% sure if they use BES or not, my guess would be yes). We do use Outlook (Exchange).

I got my new device and switched out the SIM card from my company provided BB to my new 8120. About all I had to do was go into my Email setup and register with my new IMEI. After this I have been getting all my emails as though it was my old phone. I have assumed I did everything correct but want to be sure.

The only strange thing though is I never used to have read receipt confirmations go to others but now on occasion (certain email addresses) it seems like my BB is sending them to people before ever opening the email on my BB device even. I know they're from my BB though since they show up in my Outlook Sent folder as per the assigned rule I have in Outlook. (I sit at my PC all day so my emails usually just flow into the BB all day and then get marked read at end of day-BB is mostly for night time usage.) I know this read receipts being sent is a BIS problem but not usually a BES problem, which may be why I am completely questioning if I did this all correctly or not?

Can't help you on much but I just noticed that when I re-set up my email, I was sending read receipts. If you go into your message options, there's an option to turn that off.

I definitely checked this but that wasn't the answer...thanks though!
