Default Considering a BB, question about setup

I have a complicated system but here is what I would like to do:

1. Access corporate email via POP3 (no Exchange Server or IMAP server)

2. Manually sync with PC for Outlook 2002 data (not email but tasks and contacts) using either USB or Bluetooth.

3. Use Google's Sync for synchronization of GCal with BB Calendar. (our office uses Google Calendar for all employees, again, no exchange server)

4. Use Google's gmail app for BB. I actually have a domain name through Google Apps for my personal email.

I will be using an ATT product, probably a Curve. I work for a small engineering firm and it will be a while before we upgrade our mail servers or our MS Office version. If we upgraded to an Exchange server is additional blackberry software required for PC/BB syncrhonization? Or could I use IMAP?

I'm no expert so let me know if I'm missing something. We have no IT dept so I'll be responsible for the setup of my BB.

Thanks!

Brandon

1) You can set this up through your BIS account with your carrier.
2) This can be done via bluetooth or USB with the desktop software.
3) You can use Google Sync for Blackberry for this.
4) Also, you can use GMail for Blackberry

All of this is pretty straightforward, so you should be okay.
