Default Combining BIS & BES

Hi can any one help me with this one?

We want to use BES to manage our own IT settings and policies etc - ie a hosted solution for cost - but also maintain our BIS service from Orange - so we dont need to use an exchange server - so the basic question is can you use BES for pure management purposes without linking to an exchange server? this would mean combining BES and BIS together?

Thanks in Advance!

Although you can use both BES and BIS simultaneously, you can't disable the email part of the BES system. If you go with a hosted solutiom for BES, then surely your Exchange system will be hosted too - BES requires either Exchange, Groupwise or Domino.
