Changing Display Name On OWA Integrated BIS Account

Hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction with a display name problem...

I always used to be able to log into my carrier's BIS website and edit the display name in my OWA e-mail account.

The display name field is no longer available in BIS 2.8 (for OWA accounts) and e-mails that I send from my BlackBerry are just showing my e-mail address and not my name.

I've spoken to my carrier and to RIM and they advise that BIS should be pulling the display name that's set up on my SBS 2003 server but it's not doing for some reason. Any messages that I send direct from OWA are showing my name and e-mail address so I'm sure things are set up correctly on the server.

Any suggestions on how I can resolve this problem or is this functionality that RIM are planning to add back to BIS?

long shot: delete and recreate the BIS account on the BIS website/or Setup mail.
