Can anyone tell me how to use my BB Curve 8530 / Metro PCS as a modem for my notebook?

It depends on your computers operating system. It'll differ depending what you run.

i am using Windows XP
FYI, i cannot locate the bluetooth on my notebook if it even has one.
i'll be using the usb connection

Are you going to do it from your provider or around the back.

If your provider offers it it should be on their site. If you plan on a 3rd party service

just google around a bit for those programs.

I connected mine with USB, ran the BBerry desktop software, and clicked on the mobile connect button. Worked like a charm.

Metro psc does not offer that yet so try it using Tetherberry its an awesome app
