Bookmarks as Icons

Hi-
I recently downloaded the MLB Icon from The Official Site of Major League Baseball which gives you a link to the Major League Baseball site off of the home screen. I also have one for my Gmail account.

There are a few other sites I use alot and would like to set-up home screen icons for those sites. Using the browser gets a bit cumbersome and one-click access would be nice

Can someone provide a how-to guide on setting up home screen icons for web links ?
