Default Blackberry Pearl LED

Hey All,

I've been using the Blackberry Pearl for a few months now, and I'm having an issue with the LED light. It usually blinks the appropriate color, but everytime I answer a call, or even often when I miss a call, the green light will switch from blinking to just a constant light (so it no longer blinks). The only way I can fix the problem is to reset the phone, or to turn the wireless function off and then back on again.

Anybody have any suggestions (besides all together turning the LED off)?

Try a battery pull. Also, is there power left on the device? Also, go to options / screen & keyboard / check the led, turn it off, save, and then turn it back on...

Hi Navilyn,

There is full battery. I tried a battery pull and the options save...still no luck. Still just the constant bright green color after I answer the call. It's odd.

I take it you've never had constant lighting for LED on yours?

Nope, you might have to reload the OS, or call the carrier for assistance...

Scampy, I had same problem when I had original T-mobile software (old 4.2.0.6x version). All was fixed when I upgrade to newest software...
