BES and Upgrading to 4.5

I currently have a Curve 8310 with ATT provided by my company. I am planning to upgrade to 4.5. Is there anything else I need to do to make sure I can access my corporate email after I upgrade?

I did the same and had to get a new password for the enterprise activation.

You should contact your IT department to get their OK first. You'll have to contact them after the fact, to reactivate your enterprise as kladner pointed out, so they will know what you've done. It's possible that your BES is not compatible with the advanced features in 4.5. I have that problem. You don't want to install an OS that won't work with your enterprise.

Well, I asked my IT department and they told me no go. I have to wait until the official release from ATT. oh well. they too are waiting.

Good point Jeff, I asked after the fact. They didn't mind but that would have been a lot of trouble for nothing.
