Question bes, and ms exchange setup, file sharing

I am kind of new to the exchange server systems. I want to set up a server at my house, with whatever software I need to push email to my BB, as well as have access to file that are on my server from my BB while I'm on the road.

I currently have a home PC, laptop, and BB curve. I'm sending and receiving email using outlook on all 3 devices and it's a nightmare trying to find the records of anything I've done.

I also have a fair amount of files I would like to keep in one place and be able to access them from anywhere.

The system that apple has with "Mobile Me" would be perfect, but I don't want to have to get the Iphone.

Can anyone give me suggestions of what software I need to accomplish this, or point me in the right direction.

Thanks,

Chris

You'd need a copy of Exchange server and at least one client license, a copy of Windows Server 2003/2007, and a copy of Blackberry Professional Software Express (free for single user version of BES), a static IP address (or a dynamic DNS service setup to forward to your dynamic IP), and a server to run it all on (or VMWare Workstation and a lot of RAM in your PC).

Or, simply sign up for a hosted BES service, and pay about $18 a month average (for a hosted Exchange mailbox, and hosted BES)and not worry about any of that.
