BEM chat doesn't sync to MS Communicator 2007

I just upgraded to a BlackBerry Bold and my company also upgraded to MS Communicator 2007. I don't use the BlackBerry Enterprise Messenger much, but on my old BB, my chat session would sync with the Communicator 2005 session; i.e., if I was in front of the computer, I could reply on BB and see it display on the computer screen. That isn't the behavior now and I'm wondering if it is "as designed" (as our developers love to tell me) or if it is a defect. This sounds trivial, but what is annoying is that if someone pings me...sometimes it goes to the BB and sometimes to my desktop.

Anyone else seen or heard of this behavior?

Just a guess, but it probably is controlled by your BES admin team, so something is set differently there.

BES does not work with MOC R2. There is a work around from Microsoft where you would need a R1 CWA server in place as well.

This might be the reason why. If your company upgrade to MOC R2, that will break the device to MOC connection.
