Default Apple Lures Enterprise users Away From Rim

http://www.pcworld.com/article/198512/new_os_lures_enterprise_from_rim_blackberry_to_app le_iphone.html
This article found on pcworld says apple is planning on destroying blackberry with their new os that will apparently snatch enterprise away from blackberry. What do you guys think? There's some heavy bias in this article as well.

Until apple has an alternative to BES, the larger companies (that provide phones to their users) won't switch. Large IT departments won't trust the iPhone for critical company data for high level management. End users and companies that do the "bring your own phone" plans, will probably lose a lot of RIM devices to lower management type people.

Jobs and other Apple execs uses them, Apple is a big business- 2nd biggest of Silicone Valley. The VP of Sandisk uses one, another huge business.

So the stereotype that NO big business will adopt it is a naive view. Its not for every occupation, sure, but its being adopted quite quickly in small and medium businesses and even some big businesses.

The economy doesnt revolve solely around big business.

And this explains why Apple had Facebook Game developers at the announcement as opposed to reviewing new security and EnterPrise features?

I think that if Apple really wanted to they could make a huge dent, but I just don't that this where their head is at.

Apparently you don't realize how big Facebook really is. Very smart on Apples part actually.

Facebook is Huge, so is Guitar Hero. But having those partners on stage at the announcement further promotes the iPhone as a toy as opposed to a viable business/enterprise messaging device. If they had a corporate CEO whose company Uses iPhones get up and highlight how they secured the devices and the efficiencies they see in an internet connected mobile work force who is excited to use their iPhones that would bw different. Instead Jobs decided tp further the image of the device as an Entertainment/gaming toy.
