Default 2 Quick Questions

Okay, so my company has provided me a new t-mo titanium curve and the it guys set up my work email today. I though tit would be cool to enable the security password but now it's a pain to type a password all the time - I found the menu steps but there is a little "padlock" next to "enable" - how can I turn it off?
Second - how do I change the calendar view? I read in the book to press "W" for week but when I press "W" it types a W in the calendar. So I read more and it tells me set "enable quick entry" to no...where is that? How do I find it?
Thank you

The Padlock means it is locked via the BES you cant change it! If you want to you have to ask IT to unlock the feature.
