Default What happened to certain features?

Does anyone remember when Bluetooth first came out on devices I believe it was back in 2003. Well i had a Nokia that had it and you could do all kinds of stuff with your bluetooth. Find random people in the vicinity and start chatting with them, send pictures and videos and whatever. Why can't we still do some of those things with bluetooth?

You can still send files, pictures, contacts etc through bluetooth.. there's a limit though with the size.
if you're referring to the bluetooth technology..it is still there..
you can tether your PC to your BB using bluetooth.. connect your mouse to your laptop/desktop through bluetooth..
my playstation 3 remote is connected through bluetooth..

the Infra-Red connection.. well, now that's history..
