Cant pair bluetooth on 9700 with Mytouch 3g

For the life of me I can't pair up the two devices to share media such as songs and pics. I have connection to 3 other devices that all share media.

You have to set the BB to receive as the Mytouch is sending.
At the same time.
Tried that?

Or is it the initial pairing that won't work?

I have other devices that I can send and receive with using bluetooth. Both devices recognize each other but the won't pair. It keeps asking for a pass key code. I tried 0000 and also 1234

BT in BB is a big PITA.
