Default Bluetooth will not auto connect

I have an 8330 curve and an Alpine 300BT in my car. When I had the Pearl, it would connect when I started my car. The Curve will not. So each time I have to manually connect and type in the passcode.
I have tried changing properties but have been unsuccessful.

Ideas?

Can you tell us what settings you have checked. Once a device is setup you can highlight or select the device, go to device properties to select trusted devices is on.

Mine is set the same as yours and it works fine. Maybe delete and reinstall the device but try a battery pull first with the phone on.

most things aren't setup to automatically start from the moment installed or the device is setup...the reboot is usually required to let the device driver load up and do it's stuff
