My daughter's 8100 pearl will not pair with any other devioe despite recognising their existence and being recognized by them. This includes my own 9700 bold. Any ideas?

What exactly happens when you try to pair them? remember the headset has to be in pairing mode for it to work. You should get a popup on your phone that says to input a code. If you get this far enter 0000. Most headsets go into pairing mode by holding down on the power button til the light is steady(not blinking). Hope this helps.

I have the same problem with my 9700 when pairing with my wife's 8520.
Both phones recognize each other but after you enter the numeric passkey,
connection failed message appears. Please help. Thanks
