That's what I went through with the Tour, asking for headsets that others were reporting as working with their Tours, but in fact with the Tour, the problem was/is the fault of the device, not the headset. Back then, I went into a VZW store and asked the following question:
What headset do I need to test my Tour with, in order for you (VZW and Blackberry) NOT to blame my headset, but rather accept that the problem is with the Tour device itself and not my headset?
They pointed me to the Jawbone 3, claiming that it was the end all to all bluetooth headset problems. So I bought one and sure enough, experienced the same issues with the Jawbone as with my Plantronics devices. It was shortly thereafter that I returned my Tour since there was little to no hope of getting anyone to hear me on any Bluetooth headset that I paired up to my Tour.
Now, with my Storm2, I am hoping for something different. Other can hear me, its just choppy. I would love to ask the same question now, with regard to the S2. Back then, it was a neck and neck race between the Jawbone 3 and the Plantronics Voyager Pro, albeit a bit bulky.
Anyone getting good clear consistent Bluetooth service from either of these, or any others?
Thanks
