Default Best bluetooth earpiece for Bold

I have a venerable Motorola H700 that I tried to use with my fairly new BB Bold, and everybody tells me that I sound like I'm in a wind tunnel. I would like to hear everybody's recommendations for best match and also warnings against incompatibilities, please.

Could be the bluetooth .cod version and not the headset.

You can replace the bluetooth .cod with a different version that works better.

I have had so many headsets and my Jawbone Prime worked great with my Tour but it doesn't sound as good with my new 9650. I just can't seem to get the volume up loud enough I updated the .cod and nothing.

I just purchased a Plantronics 975 and I really like it but am having issues with the battery lasting all day.

I have thought about trying the ICON but not sure it would be much different from my Prime.

Great thread, can't wait to see what everyone posts

I had issues with other BT's not having enough volume on the Bold. Bought the Jawbone Icon and it works super. need only 2 or 3 bars for good volume.

Moto H17 has A2DP or mono music/podcast streaming, is very loud and the the boxed version I got At best Buy came with a free copy of iDrivesafly for BlackBerry and Android.

The Jabra BT8010 is very nice if you can find them. Kinda old, but had ability to sync contact name and numbers to dial right from headset! It also had a stereo attachment for true stereo sound/ streaming.

There's another Motorola if you want ultimate noise cancellation. It's the endeavor. I believe it boast on noise cancellation up to 40miles/hr wind speed.
