Anyone else find that the likes of Blaq, FB, CB10 and LinkedIn to name a few are "opening" far far slower on this leak. Once open they run normal.

Did you try rebooting? Maybe reinstalling the os? I am not facing this issue myself.

I'm on a Z10 and all seems just a bit sleepy for me too. Was going to reload, but have been putting it off. Been on .1055 for about 36 hours and have done a few hard reboots, but it is still a bit slow, compared to .1803.

Its not perfect so there will be some problems and thats what you need to expect when you run a leak. Especially one that is months from being officially distributed.

Lol... I think people sometimes forget that these OS's aren't ready for primetime... you have to expect issues...smh.

Still waiting for the first issue to show though. 10.2.1.1055 runs far smoother on my Z30 than the 10.2.0 it came with.

Talk about a "broad generalization"!!! I've run almost every leak that's come out for my Z and if this is what you call beta, then so be it. I'm very happy to try every beta they put out, since AT&T still would have me on a 10.1 build???

Many apps like Blaq, CB10 etc. take significantly longer for startup than under 10.2.0.
PLease no education on this being only a leak, I'm aware of that, and I'm not complaining. I'm just hoping BBRY will get aware (which they probably are already).
Feature-wise, I think this is the best OS version ever.

Seemed sluggish when first loading stuff, but once it's loaded it once, it seems fine and, if anything, even crisper than previous.
But yeah, was noticing that yesterday when I first loaded .1055... I was really dreading having to live with another snail phone (the main reason i got rid of my Samsung )

If it doesn't sort out in a day or 2, I might consider reinstalling the OS... and then give it a bit to get everything settled in.

No. There's a reason this isn't available officially from BlackBerry. It's not finished and may have issues.

Did anyone notice, when playing Minion Rush, the tilt is reversed, left to go right, and right to go left. I think it's the app, i don't think it's ready for 10.2.1.xxxx

maybe some apps are not ready for 10.2.1.x because they optimised for 10.1 and 10.2 maybe that's the problem.

True, but after watching DJ Reyes's vid on the main page, it reminded me that I believe she was playing Minion Rush on the Z30.

I also noticed the slow down when I initially installed the OS, the crackberry app would take an additional 5 to 10 seconds to fire up but then it ran normally. Once I did the reboot with removal of sim card thing to get my LTE service working again, the slow down went away. Now the crackberry app and other apps that were affected run normally again.

So I have reinstalled and don't see much difference. Other slow startup with apk programs, CB10 does seem like one of the slower running programs.

Still enjoying the features though.

Things are running relatively the same. The only downside I have found so far, is the battery drain. It's triple that of the official 10.2
