I just found out by email from a manufacture of inductive chargers that certain Z30's were manufactured with the inductive charge feature. One of these was the ones supplied to Verizon. The Z30 that I have that is for BELL does not support inductive charging. Apparently, I was told modifying the phone would not be practical even if I could have the parts. For the Z30's that have the inductive charging feature they are on the Qi standard. Take care if you do buy an inductive charger that it is on the standard for your phone.

I bought an inductive charger from seeing some demos on Youtube with a Z30. The people giving the demo all said they had very good results with the inductive charging on all the devices they tried it with. I have some friends with other types of phones that are on the list of being compatible. I will most likely give this one away since it would cost me too much to send it back to where I bought it.

Did you have to buy the charging module that goes inside you back cover and plugs into your charging port (if so which one) or did you have the Verizon model Z30?

Jaydee has a vzw one. You can buy an adapter the goes in the door and plugs into the USB port and make most any phone charge wireless.

Doesn't have to be just for the Verizon Z30 any more. You can but the addon module that goes inside the back cover at http://www.amazon.ca/LuguLake-Univer...UvbUpU10479896 and then use wireless charging.
