So I just picked up the Nokia icon and my dad has been rocking a z10 he is still 2 months away from getting a new upgrade and I'm sick of everyone I know getting iPhone's so if anyone has a icon and a z30 could they do a video comparing the 2? I've searched online but only came up with z30 vs Nokia 1520 or strangely enough the 1020. If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it

In the meantime you can do a specs comparison:-

As for the OS comparison just use the latest relevant review taking into account the differences in specs where appropriate.

Yeah I've done all that and thank you for the spec sheets I just want a video comparison. Something more visual I guess.

The gpus are similar the Nokia cpu is better but not really put to good use without WP8.1 ... overall it's what you need that matters because both of these phones are great. but the Z30 will have better battery life.

Yeah I'm really wanting to see a z30 but the Verizon outlets around me don't carry blackberry or windows phones saying there's no demand for them so I have never seen the z30. I've really loved my dads z10. He still has unlimited data and I've used the escreen hack to keep his WiFi tethering so I hope I can still use that if he gets a z30.

First thing you need to know is never listen to biased salesmen. Second you should check out unlocked Z30s from a online vendor. Find one that is legitimate... it really sucks that BlackBerry isn't selling them online yet. but they are selling Q10 and Z10 from their site directly.

I'm not sure if they match exactly but all Z30s do have LTE. Don't know if they are all compatible with Verizon.

Yeah right now he has unlimited 4g lte WiFi tethering so it's not something he's looking to give up.

Once he upgrades he will lose has unlimited data which just happened to me when I upgraded from a BlackBerry 9930 to a Z30 in January. I called Verizon and complained about having to give up my unlimited data and they gave me 6GB's month for the price of 2GB's. Make sure you ask them for the Internet price for the phone and check other sites (like Amazon) who carry contract phones and if they're less, let Verizon know and ask for a price match. They will do it as they want you to sign the 2 year contract. I don't know anything about the Lumina but this Z30 is the bomb when I compared it to a Samsung S4 and iPhone.

I've had multiple windows phones and there really is no comparison. Much more customization with the BlackBerry and the battery life of the BlackBerry is going to be a huge bonus compared to the lumia. Plus with the latest update, the addition of being able to run android apps is a monster advantage for the BlackBerry.
