Not having used an iphone 6, i couldn't tell you. Maybe you should go to iMore and see what they say about iphone and then compare to what you know about a BlackBerry?

I was also facing the same dilemma. I went for a Z30. Love the hub. Still far better than apple IOS 8's notification center. Also I simply cannot afford unlocked apple prices! I insist on never signing contracts with carriers again! If everyone would do the same, we would send the whole industry down to their knees.

I had purchased an Iphone 6 and wanted to switch to it, but have gone to my Z30. Here is what I like about Iphone and also what I think is better on Z30.

Iphone 6 pros are
1) Notification Centre - I love getting push notifications on twitter for people that I follow. I love that on Score Mobile or other sports apps I get push scoring notifications. I also like that I get push notifications on a number of apps that are not possible on Z30

2) Great thin form factor on the Iphone 6.

3) Apps --- say no more

Z30 pros

1) Love the Blackberry Hub
2) Battery life is outstanding. Iphone can't compete with z30 in battery life
3) despite being a bigger phone fits great in the hand
4) For us visually challenged folks love the way it handles fonts... beats iphone at this hands down
5) Like the android app availability. It bridges the gap but can improve on this even more
6) blackberry gestures make things so much easier to get around

So basically I think it depends on what you are looking for. I purchased an Iphone 6 and have moved onto my son now and went back to my z30.

The Cons on both phones IPhone and the Z30 are the batteries are not removable....
Other than that, I vote the Z30.
Much better design, better security, and better battery life.

Yes but permanently. People have reported that keeping in in the front pocket ends up creating a permanent kink in the aluminum frame. There are also some YouTube videos of people permanently bending the aluminum!

I use FeedMinder, which runs headless and allows customizable Hub notifications for new Tweets from those I follow (I can chose which people's tweets get injected into the hub)

Absolutely 100% true. I love these forums and the people on it. But sometimes they can be a little blind to other OS and phones.

After watching all the iPhone users in Las Vegas scrambling for a place to charge their iPhones or complaining about running out of memory. I'm glad I was rocking my Z30.

Battery life for what seems like forever no matter what I was throwing at it, combined with a 64GB SD card for all my media, pictures and video needs. I had zero worries throughout the day and my Z30 took some amazing pictures.

I have both phones and use them daily.

Both phones a great phone, but they are good in different areas.
The Hub is a real treat on Z30.
The cameras is much better on iPhone 6.
The batteries are more or less equal after the latest update to 10.2.1.3062.

I think the decision has mostly to do of what eco system you're in. I live in an Apple eco system and love it.
If you're not in an eco system, you should go with what feels right for you.
