Just get another z30 and see if the mobile landscape changes in the next two years. I loved my z10 and needed to replace it. Didn't find something more suitable than a Z30. So I just went for it.

    Currently I'm a Z30 user.
I would love to switch to Vienna!

Can also use Priv if I win it from Crackberry :P

But I'm not going back to Android unless it's a BlackBerry!

Maybe in future I'll try iPhone once I can afford it with my own money!

my first blackberry was a bold 9700 and i hate to say it but i was scared of it at the time and sold it, but after getting a torch 9800 i fell in love with it and blackberry. my very first PKB phone was a nokia e71x and i admit i loved having the PKB and now after going back to blackberry with my 9800, 9810 z10 and now my bestest friend z30 that now has netflix i dont want to leave my berry and crackberry friends behind so im going to try and wait to see what happens in the next 6 years if blackberry comes back with a 100% blackberry phone with the same bb10 os. i do have a galaxy s5 that i just use as a tablet and i like the post before of a z60, now that would be sweet and water-proof too. oh boy lets place that christmas wish list to santa.

Can't foresee anything after a z30. I hope that by the time mine bites the dust they'll be a z50... or a z-L or something that's a descendant of the 10.

I've used blackberry for years; some old work phone, pearl, bold, torch, curve, z10 and now z30. Admittedly sceptical about the switch from physical keyboard to full touch screen I wanted to go for a Q10 but saw a real good deal on a sim free z10. The shape of the passport doesn't appeal to me, nor does the physical keyboard. Not really used android but would maybe switch to a Priv if the wheels fell off tomorrow. It would mean that I'd still have the blackberry name in my pocket.

Your Z30 successor will be a Priv. Appears it will succeed mine too at some point.

Prolly priv. Although it woupd be cool if BlackBerry released a modest z30 hardware update for the fans. Like maybe left over 801 chips with a 1080p super amoled screen and a 3300 battery. That would be awesome!

I'm telling you, if they released a Z30 update with great cameras (more like the Sony Z5) and a nice screen I'd be all over that. Keep the great sounding speakers.. I would get that phone. Well, I say that but if they priced it like they always price things I probably wouldn't.

But I'm with you in spirit.

I couldn't stand it any more, I just got a new Z30 backup from VZW through a special offer I got from them 2 weeks ago taking $100 off any smart phone, with current pricing. I had a previous credit of $129 for a discount we were due several months ago, so I bit the bullet and did it. No buyers remorse here.

I can hold out a good while now to see if another TRUE BB10 phone comes out.

The phone I really want is the Sony Xperia Z5. But I'm so afraid that after having to hear "Zed 10" and then "Zed 30" for the last 3 years I'm going to end up watching videos and hearing people call it a "Zed 5".

I mean people on Crackberry couldn't just let me enjoy my Z10 and Z30 (writing it like that allows me to say it's proper name of "Zee 10") no these Zed people had to actually spell it out in their tag lines. "Typed with my beautiful Zed 10". Or going on YouTube to watch repair videos and have to hear the word Zed.

I mean it's a letter. Z. Not a word. I have no idea how the letter Z is different from one country to the next. I mean in the military we named our letters with words. Like X-ray for X or Zulu for Z. But it wasn't Zulu for Zed!

Yeah I want a Z5 but the Zed people might break me if I have to have the third device in a row have the letter Z in it.

Maybe the people on Android Central don't rub it in with the whole Zed thing. So far I got lucky and watched a video on the Z5 where they said Z. Maybe since Sony is from Japan it gets to be called Z and it's only the Canadians with the Zed thing.

Then again Priv is far more disturbing than Zed so by comparison maybe hearing people molest the letter Z isn't so bad.

This is a good question. With the combination of the end of runtime development and the abandonment of native apps the end of BB10 is coming sooner than most realize.

My recommendation - after finishing a six month or so exercise where I have used them all - is Blackphone for privacy, Windows Phone for the most tolerable user interface.

Then it is a big step back to iOS and an even bigger step back to spydroid.

Probably the iPhone 6S. The new OS is pretty cool. I still much prefer BlackBerry 10, but I had used the iPhone for years prior to switching to BlackBerry, so it makes sense. I'd love a new BlackBerry 10 premium all touch though...

Not sure if kidding, but if not: Z is zed in every English speaking country in the world, except the USA. If kidding: haha.

About to buy a Samsung Galaxy S6, the abrupt shift on Android with a non-recent processor was a complete disappointment for me. I loved BlackBerry 10 quickness, but I still can't understand why they refused to develop the commonest social network apps for it. At the moment facebook is not working, Twitter isn't updated and WhatsApp can load only videos below 16 GB. People are currently exchanging files and documents via WhatsApp. If I am to use an Android device, I need the most updated processor

I'm using my beloved Z30 until it craps out on me. My intended replacement for it doesn't yet exist. I'd love for BlackBerry to come out next year with updated BlackBerry 10 devices that have high-end hardware like the Passport or Priv. My first choice would be a "Classic 2" in cobalt blue. My second world be a "Z50".

If they name a BB Priv I hope they update the keyboard to be a real BlackBerry keyboard and not the POS they used in the android.
