My wife did it but she still eyes her Q10 and keeps it "just in case". She hasn't actually gone back - she really likes the large screen and speed - but there are certain keyboard shortcuts that she misses a little.

Short story: It's really what you want out of the device. That large screen is super tempting...

I don't use keyboard shortcuts so there's nothing to miss there, I pretty much use my phone to call BBM and watch Netflix and with the Z30 I was hoping to eliminate the need for my iPad but having Sims FreePlay and Tapped Out on my phone and playing them on there. The screen is very tempting and also the battery life.

I just went from my Z10 to a 30 and trust me it's well worth it!

The screen size is perfect, battery life is AMAZING, even running android apps seems to be allot faster and smoother than it ever was on my Z10.

Also if you can, get the white version, it's a beauty!

The z30 has got much better battery, camera, bigger screen size, better speakers (better than note 3 and htc one m8). , it has paratekk antenna which makes. It receive signals easily! An it has 1 gigabytes hearts more processor speed than the q5 so it is much faster, has. Some more ran which never let's it lag and the screen is more pleasing to the eyes!
You are only gonna miss the physical keyboard! The z30 is also gonna get more updates and leaks than the q5! Just GO FOR IT! Sorry for the caps, just wanted you attention but seriously go for it!

I had change my Z10 for the Z30 a week ago, and it was a deal and do not turning back!

Additional to all the benefits you have Miracast, FM Radio and a amazing screen (Size and quality). And if you are bored about the keyboard really the touch keyboard is amazing for work y have a Bold 9900 and I prefer the touch phone (before my Z10 and know my Z30).

Yeah you should do it. I don't have a Q5, but I have the Q10 and Z10, and the Z30 has a better battery than both of them and that huge screen. It feels really premium like the Q10 does, and I also have an iPad like you.. and the Z30 eliminates much of the need for one, to be honest.

I use my iPad now for random things, but you can definitely do most things on your Z30 that you can do on your iPad, especially if you're into watching things.

The Z30 feels like the King of BlackBerrys to me. Go for it.

I can't say for sure cause I'm not a keyboard guy, but what I can say is the battery life is so much better. Bigger in the pocket but worth it to me. I wouldn't trade back for my z10

I nearly have enough to get one so I'm defiantly going to save the rest and get one! I'll have a look at the white one but generally I don't really like white phones

You have defiantly just sold it to me, my iPad has literally just broken and I'm not up for buying a phone and an iPad so Z30 here I come

Be sure to get the correct version of the Z30 for the carrier you will be using it on. In the USA you want the STA100-5 which is a perfect match for T-Mobile and a good match for AT&T. The STA100-5 will get LTE on AT&T only in some areas. It will get 4G everywhere.
If using Verizon, you need the STA100-3 only.
I switched to the Z30 as my daily user from a Z10 and I love everything about it.

I'm thinking about maybe trying out a Z10 first because I've never had a touch-screen phone and I thought better to try it with a cheaper phone and one that I can return because it's way too hard to return things bought from Amazon, but I'll let everyone know what I decide Monday

z10 is a nice phone....is good size and good at very many things. the battery life let's it down.

The z30 is a great phone with excellent battery life and does everything the z10 does and more.

Jump in with both feet and get the z30

I agree. I have both the Z10 and the Z30. The Z10 is a great phone but the Z30 is a better phone and the battery life is awesome.

I wish I could, I got in a little money problem and I can't afford the Z30 now so I'm going to get the Z10, and just buy a spare battery, I already have a portable charger so I should be fine for now until I have the money for a Z30 it could even be a Birthday or Christmas present
