I just updated my Z30 to 10.3.2.2836

I am on the T-Mobile network, and after I restarted I got this symbol in my status bar next to the wifi.

Is is wifi calling? if so how do I enable it?

I have a Z30 STA100-5

I don't see anything relating to wifi calling. Where would that be? The only difference is there is now Advanced 4GLTE settings.

You need to side load the T-Mobile Wi-Fi Calling app to toggle on/off the Wi-Fi Calling feature :

BUT, you also will need downgrade the radio bar file to Version 10.3.2.2814 version for it to work properly:

To add to what pvphooman said, also make sure you turn off Automatic Updates before you downgrade the radio file, otherwise it will detect the lower version file and try to patch it to current.

Crazy thing is I have 2 Z30's on Tmobile. Updated both of them OTA. One of them now has the WiFi calling symbol like you've shown and the other one does not.

Exactly the same update for both. Both Z30's factory unlocked always used on Tmobile.

Why BlackBerry... WHY... can't you ever do ANYTHING that results in consistency?

I know lol. my wifi calling works part of the time. Alot of it I think is that there is not huge amounts of people using BB10 devices, so it;s not a priority for BlackBerry and the various carriers. I'm looking forward to the new Android based BB's that are possibly in the works, because if there is a mid-range one I'll probably go with that...if not then I really like the Asus Zenfone 2.

Limited mins won't benefit from WiFi calling since the mins still come out of your wireless plan
