Hi

After struggling to charge my Z30 I eventually had the charging pin replaced.

Now it will only start charging if I switch off/ restart the phone while the charger is connected. If it's on already the phone will not start charging irrespective of battery level. I've tried different cables, different wall chargers - OEM and generic the car charger, switching the plug off and back on while connected to the phone, etc, etc.

All the combinations work with my spare Z10 so it can't be cable or charger related.

The only option that works is a shutdown or restart with the cable connected and power source switched on before the restart. Weird!

Any insight or advice would be most appreciated.

Running latest official OS10.3.2.2474.

Yes, has to be. Take it back to whoever replaced the socket and get them to fix it property.
