The best, undoubtedly. Sounds even better than the PlayBook's in my opinion.

There's a comparison between the Z30 and HTC One (with 'Beats' nonsense - apparently the greatest speakers on any device, according to the press) on YouTube: the Z30 wins clearly. Check it out.

According to John Chen, there won't be a z30 replacement model for a while (over 1 year). It will be worth it when you upgrade.....

Everyone's "hearing" is slightly different, so it's rather subjective. The HTC One speakers sound marginally better to me, but I have to play them side by side to tell.

All in all, I'm darned happy with my Z30 sound, and the device itself. I consider it a worthwhile upgrade from my Z10.

These speakers coupled with the Neutron player are freaking incredible. My friend got a Samsung phone, not sure which model but not the biggest one, it's the 5.5 or 5.7, but it was crazy load I thought to myself when I had my z10, blackberry got some work to do In that department. Now that I got my z30...forget about it, he's always commenting on how load and clear it is

Yes, the PlayBook sounds pretty good (I haven't heard the Z30, stereo though it may be, and overall I'm pretty happy with the monaural sound from my Z10). But it ain't quite what I'd accept as good enough to impress an audiophile...who are few and far between, thanks to the effects from ipods and all the other MP3 players we all use.

Let's be honest, audiophile and cellphone will never go hand in hand...it would be just too expensive. Most audio files I put on my phone, I at least try to have them in some kind of lossless form. But considering what we have to play with, these are great speakers

I'm an 'audiophile' and they impress me. The reason being that they exceed what you could logically expect from a device of that size.

I've had the Z10, Q10 and now the Z30 and the Z30 wins hands down, beats out the iPhone 5c and 5s no problem and also the Galaxy S4 and S3 too

Lol yeah.. my mates got the HTC and Samsung note 3 and iPhone and were really impress on how the sound quality from the speakers are better than theirs + the added bonus of the battery life

Best I've heard on a smartphone. I bet it gets even better on future BlackBerry's, obviously haha... Hopefully some base and whatnot, maybe an equalizer via USB? LOL I mean just a digital one. Peace.

I thought my nephew's HTC ONE has great speakers until I heard and for my z30. The HTC one is more "trebley"but the z30 sounds incredible, almost like there's a sub woofer in the device. Outstanding stereo sound, beautiful bass and loud!! Puts other phone speakers to shame. I just wish BlackBerry shipped higher quality earbuds. Those look and feel really cheap.
