    Is it possible to replace just the glass on the Z30 or do I have to buy the glass/digitizer combo?

    For the extra $10 difference in price go with the combo it seriously takes 5 minutes to change. Otherwise good luck with pulling off the digitizer and the painstaking amount of time to do that. Hopefully you won't damage it.
