Dropped my Z30 yesterday and now I have screen cracks! Is it easy to find a screen replacement? Doubt many places have the right size? Anyone done it before?

Do a search. There have been a few ppl that have replaced their cracked Z30 screen.

I purchased a Verizon version on amazon. For $45 with shipping. Remove 8 screws and one lock on the only ribbon on screen. Took about 20 minutes total.

I had a cracked screen when mine hit the floor at home.
I had to add insurance to the device through Verizon. The next day make a few phone calls to prove the device still worked and the warranty company replaced the device. Had it in hand in 2 days.

Agreed, lol. Plus if you buy insurance and put in a claim the next day...they'd never pay it. I worked SIU for a car insurance company. There's a period in the plan that says anything that happens to the phone in the next billing cycle is on you.

Actually, you'd be amazed at the claims phone insurance companies process. As a former AT&T manager, I can attest that they let some obvious fraud claims slide. My theory is that the refurbished phones they give you most of the time are similarly priced to your deductible, so they just don't seem to care like other types of insurance companies do.
