Based on my reading of the various forums, and my personal experience with a few of the devices, it seems the 30 and the 5 attract the least complaints.

The Classic and Passport appear to have problems. Too bad because I want both devices to succeed. I'll continue to monitor the Passport. But maybe there is something to the risk of too many moving parts.

And I would like to get another Q10 but I expect to get more double typing. And I'm not interested in having to disassemble the keyboard to try to fix it.

I'm thinking of retiring the 10 and going with the 5 and 30 going forward

I have the same impression -- especially with respect to the Q5. I think it's probably the most bullet-proof berry

They are both good phones. If you need the keyboard as I do and don't require lots of memory, Q it is. Otherwise the Z30 is much more phone.
Or you can have the best of both worlds with a Classic.

If you really break it down, the internal specs of the Q5 are only slightly inferior to the Z30. Tbh, all BB10 phones except for the Z3 (the worst) and the Passport (the best) are very very similar internally.

As you can see memory and battery are substantially different.

The 8GB internal on the Q5 really drops it back a bit in my opinion, otherwise it would be right up there with the Q10.
