Hope this is an easy one but my z30 has wrong date and time stamps on pictures taken with the camera app as well as camera++.

Is there a setting I am missing somewhere? Current date and time on phone is correct, so I'm not sure where the issue is.

Is the format of the file name on a photo taken something like:

IMG_20150829_154336.jpg

If so that stands for :

Year 2015, Month 08, Day 29, Hour 15, Minute 43, Second 36.

The hour being in 24-hour time, not 12AM/PM time.
Which would convert to the photo was taken at:

3:43:36PM on August 29, 2015.

If the format is correct, but it truly is off-sync for time, then please advise how far off it is.

If it's off by one hour, it may be a problem with being near a time zone or in an area not covered by Daylight Savings Time.

If it's way off, then there may be a bug in the OS, try a soft reset:

1. Press and hold the volume up and down buttons at the same time.
2. You will see a screen shot message, the screen will turn off, the device will shut down, the red LED will blink once, you will see "BlackBerry" on the screen, and then the OS loading BB symbol animation.
3. When you see the animation, release the buttons.

What this does is deletes all caches, shuts down running memory and services, shuts off and reboots the device. It does not delete any apps or files, only shuts off stuff that is running in memory. It is the same as a battery pull on removable battery devices and generally fixes any bugged or glitchy apps or services.
It is normal for the device to be sluggish or glitchy for up to five minutes after it has rebooted, as it is rebuilding all the caches and restarting all the background apps and services, best to just let it set for 5 minutes.

Then try the camera and see if the file name date stamp is correct with a fresh photo.

Mine too. Never figured it out though. I think it's skewed by about 4 hours ahead. My waze app was four hours fast but fixed itself after their update.
