Does anyone's Z30 overheat when on standby??

never. I have never had that happen to me with my Z30. Maybe you have a rogue app installed and need to reload your OS?

Yes, this happens all the time when bbm is going crazy. Check your monitor and see if bbm battery usage is high. If it's anyway above 20% restart your phone. I've had bbm use up over 70% battery within 3 hours, completely dead in 4.

I've also had this issue, twice now. Restart with the volume keys fixes it.

it sometimes happens but very rarely in my case. Try to install Taskmanager to kill every single android app that may be still running in the background.
