Guys, having got my Z30 a week a go, I'd like to get hold of a multimedia dock for it. I know the Z10 has one, is there one planned for the Z30 does any one know?

Looking at the connections on my Z30, they seem to be in the same place as the Z10. Has anyone trimmed a Z10 dock to take the edges off to make it fit the Z30? It will also fit the PlayBook as well I think, so I was maybe thinking of getting a few in, two for the house, one for work.

The answer is yes. I have seen three docks "dremmeled" this way and works fine for Z30.

I use a case and don't uses dock because I can Miracast.

Guys, thanks for the responses. It looks as though you can just dremel the sides off as I thought. I've seen a few BB Z10 docks on ebay for around �10.

Why has Blackberry not released something for the phone? Just a very obvious thing to do (as the Z10 has one) and very odd thing not to do as the phone is supposed to be the top of the range touch screen device (at the moment). Another Blackberry oversight or just incompetent like they were with the PlayBook? But then again, the PlayBook didn't get one and that was screaming out for a proper multimedia dock.

You can get the official Z10 dock on ebay fairly easily. Got one and just ordered another. About ~$20 bucks. Totally worth it. Don't know how much stock they have and so I would order it if you are thinking about one...

Yup. That's why I said you should get them off eBay or Amazon if you can..there are only so many of them available.

I was searching for some pictures of the Z10 multimedia dock with the corners dremmeled to fit the Z30.

Anyone has them or can share them?
