    My phone connects no problem to the kenwood but when I try to type a text or enter in my password it will not bring up the keyboard to type. I have to turn the Bluetooth off and back on to get access to my keyboard again. or if I shut the vehicle off and walk away from vehicle after a few mintues the keyboard will work.

    I connect up to multiple Bluetooth devices and have never had any issues ie ford sync, chevy link etc.

    Have you updated your OS? There are some known issues with Bluetooth and BB10.3.3.

    Might try:
    1) Delete any pairings and then recreate them.
    2) Wipe your phone or reinstall the OS
