Seems like my Z30's GPS died after I managed to drop the phone. The screen cracked and I had it replaced and now, while it locks the GPS to the right location if I am stationary, when I use it for navigation it never follows me around properly. Has anyone else had these symptoms? Is there a way to "fix" or replace that particular part? Is the GPS unit even a separate part on the phone?

Try using BBVE first to make sure there is an error. Restarting your phone is a good first step by the way

Hard reset on phone and BBVE failed the GPS test. Everything else on the device works however.

Is your phone under warranty? Do you have any insurance?

No insurance. I don't think warranties protect against a drop? Or I suppose I could not mention the drop but I'm fairly certain they'd be able to tell.

Up, I have already changed the broken screen myself on the z30, I think it's the easiest smartphone if you want replace a part of the phone, however my Gps don't work anymore, is It just possible to buy the GPS chip and replace it ?
