Oddly enough, for all of Rogers' packet sniffing and privacy busting they do with their Internet, their phones didn't have the infamous Carrier IQ.

when the z10 came out costco where i live had it out already that you could play with but they wouldn't sell it until the 5.. same sort of thing don't complain its a good idea gets it out people see it. and when your told you can't have it.. just makes you want it more..hahah

It's funny in 2011 august 3rd the future shop guy messed up and sold me a 9900 a week early. He couldn't even set it up on contract and made me promise to come back when it launched to sign for it.

It was too late for them because I was already using it and playing with it.

That's cool. Good to see it on display. Does anyone know if we can buy a Z30 direct from BlackBerry? I've kinda been hinting at this in a few different posts, but now have to flat out ask... Messaged BB, no response, Telus won't give me a straight answer. Thought I'd give it a shot here. Sorry if there is already a thread about this. Thanks in Advance.

I did touch and hold the new Z30 last Thursday in a Bell store at North York, Toronto. The lady working there was not able to tell me about the price. I held it in my left hand and compared it with a Z10 in my right hand.

Both of them are almost the same weight. I like the size of Z30 which is a bit bigger than Z10. It looks great!

I chatted with the lady for about 20 mins. She suggested me to buy an unlocked phone at the other retailer and come back to her for a prepaid voice + data plan. What an honest girl?

I used to work at Walmart. If anything was sold early through the system whether it be an album, video game, phone etc we would get fined. I've seen a hefty fine for selling one hip hop album 2 days early.
