When I record video at 1080p 30FPS the resulting file is showing in my editing software as being recorded at 28.8 FPS. This causes the audio to creep out of sync at the rate of 1 frame per second. So for every 30 seconds of video the audio shifts by 1 second. When playing on the phone audio stays in sync, but there is a noticeable frame skip every second. I have 2 Z30 phones, one mine one my daughters. Hers doesn't experience this.
I am using a class 10 SD card to store video. Any ideas as to why this is happening. I have not tried 720P, just 1080.

Are you sure you don't have some software installed on your phone that's causing it to have trouble recording at 30 fps?

When I record 720p at 60fps on my Leap, all works well. I'm using a SanDisk 8GB Ultra Plus. I would say maybe it's the SD card but on my Q5 I have a SanDisk Ultra Class 10 and all seems to work fine. Maybe your device is running out of memory?

    Definitely a puzzle question here

Well I don't have many apps on my phone.Just the usual suspects Wifi Analizer, Speedtest, Netflix Tune in, banking apps, and a couple of games, plus the standard stuff that came with the phone.
Device manager says I am using 634 megs of system memory, and I have over 8 gigs of internal space free, and my 32 gig SD card has 24 free. Hardly anything on the phone.
