So I had a transform case on my Z30 but I started noticing all my night shots looked like ****, brutal flash flare in 9 out of 10 pictures taken at night.

At the time I thought I found a bug in the 10.3.01418 OS but nope, turns out the flash was reflecting off the tiny bit of glossy plastic that lines the cut out of the camera hole for the case. Took the case off and now night shots are great.

But now my Z30 is exposed and susceptible to the elements being naked. I love the feel of it naked but I'm scared of it not having any protection. So I'm not into adding bulk to my phone and I'm looking for a clear style case like a TPU. Any suggestions?

I am using OEM leather flip case on Z30. It is very slippery and dangerous particularly lifting from table. It has slipped from my hand while lifting from table and mic go damaged because of impact. It's my habit I use screen guard from the day one since last 8 yrs on all phones I have used so far.

Use the leather pouch? It's protected when not in use and you get to feel it naked when you do use it. Best of both worlds.

I have both the capdase slim jacket and the leather fold case. I love them both. Dropped my Z30 a few times and have no scratches or dents whatsoever cause of the case....

These are my 2 cases I use on my Z30. The first 2 pictures are from my Noreve. Very good but a bit heavy. The second one is the official one from BlackBerry that I use most of time.

I totally agree with you. I got a Crackberry's special 2 for the price of one pouch and it is excellent. I retired my belt holster and doubt I will ever use it again. The pouch meets all my needs.

Same here, for my g/f's white Z30. Went with the Fosmon clear Dura-frost, looks great, and she's dropped it many times since and it's holding up fine (knock on wood.) Previously she cracked the screen dropping it with the BlackBerry leather flip case, since it doesn't protect 3 edges of the phone. Took a hit near the bottom right of the silver lower bar, dinged it, and the screen was toast. Good news is the screen is crazy easy to replace. White one costs a bit more than the black though.

You can replace the screen yourself in 5 minutes. Buy one off Amazon for $45. I paid a store to do mine for $125, sat and watched him take out about six screws, put the new screen on and hand it back to me 5 minutes later... 😢

It seems the z30 is quite fragile. Despite this fact I refuse to carry it in a case or something. I hate those things. Just adds bulk and hides the beauty.
