I have a few IMAP and exchange accounts set up on my Z30, I have to reinstall the passwords a couple times a day as my Z30 keeps forgetting them.

I've gone through everything on the forums to try and fix it with no joy. Does anyone know if this is an issue blackberry are looking to resolve in the upcoming 10.2.1 upgrade?

I've had the same or similar thing. When I setting up an email account (with either Yahoo, Exchange Corporate Account, ICloud, it seems to happen intermittently with all types) after the email account is initially setup - after some time (within 20 minutes or hours later) it will sometimes display a message saying the the account login info is needed and I have to go to the email setup screen and input the account email password again and again. I have sometimes fixed this intermittent problem by deleting the account and inputting the account details again completely from the beginning. This seems to on occasion stop it repeatedly asking for the login details. I've had this problem on Z10 and Z30 on Telstra in Australia and also when roaming by using a prepaid Etisalat SIM in Dubai. The Z30 was running 10.2.0.253 and is upgraded to 10.2.0.429 but its still happening currently with iCloud account needing the account password inputted each time I reboot the Z30.
The Z10 was also upgraded with the Telstra approved S/W version but it still happens.
Very odd problem....

Have you guys tried in putting the settings manually instead if the auto way. As soon as you open account hit advanced and set up.

I have the same issue on my Q10 and my wife's Z10. It is very sporadic. Sometimes I have to re-enter the password several times per day, then there are times a couple of weeks go by without an issue. I have tried deleting the email account and re-entering all the info to no avail. Both phones are on T Mobile 10.1.0.4200

Yes I've tried all the recommendations on the BlackBerry forum. I've deleted and reinstslled; I've restored to factory settings and reinstalled; and many others all variations on the same principal of "turn it off, turn it back on again". I have also tried installing manually, but nothing seems to work.

Looking through the forums the issue is clearly rife throughout BB10. Does anyone know if BlackBerry are taking it seriously and weather we can expect a solution in the next update?

Thus can be a bit annoying. I had same issue on my Z10 for a while, same issue on friends Q10 and now my Z30 does it randomly.

Did any of you try to delete the account and set it up from scratch with manual setting (advanced mode)?
I never had such issues on z10 or z30, except after one restore. The above mentioned worked for me.

It happens all the time on my Q10 and also my Z10 with Gmail.

I've put a lot of time into this and still not come up with a solution.

In my experience, Outlook dot Com doesn't drop anything near as regularly as Gmail - perhaps for the reasons theorised in the thread above for EAS v IMAP.

Gmail drops so often that it has got to the point where it is pretty much unusable on the Q10 or Z10.

Now, if only I could export the Gmail contacts into Outlook dot Com - the CSV file from Gmail seems to be in a format that Outlook dot Com doesn't like... :-(

Linking the Gmail contacts to Outlook dot Com doesn't show them under the Outlook dot Com contacts section of the Q10 or Z10 - it only allows access to the Gmail contacts when logged into Outlook dot Com via the web browser interface.

I have the same problems with Gmail acct. They work for 4 to 5 days then I stop getting emails. So I look at the accts. In both my Gmail show as not connected in the account mean. My fix is to Re save the acct. Info. I love my z30 but that's a big problem for me. No reasons to re-save the email info every few days.

I had that issue when I had my q10. My email addresses were constantly getting disconnected. It was soo frustrating I was contemplating getting rid of the phone. It happened to me every day. The one thing I would say to do is when u set up your email address do it thru advanced settings. For some reason it works. I currently have the z30 and since then I havent had one issue in regards to the email situation. Perhaps its because im running 10.2 which came with the phone

This just started happening to me on my z10, at least once everyday for the past 3-4 days now. I have 2 AOL email accounts and today it's happen about 6 tines already driving me crazy.

Ok, could you tell me your sync interval?
If you have 2 or more accounts with the same provider you may meet ip connection limitations with IMAP. I had that while using the iphone, the laptop and the z10 (all from the same WLAN). The server denied to open new connections, which showed up on the iphone like you are describing.

Ideas to fix: set the sync interval to a longer time (you don't need it really all 15 Minutes, you got push).
another one is to contact the hoster and ask for their max connection limit per ip. Please note that one device always keeps more than one connection via imap.

Today I woke up with problems with my Aol e-mail too. Yesterday it was with Gmail. Hopefully blackberry and Crackberry address this problem soon.

I've had my Verizon Z30 for a month and never had a problem with this. I have 3 accounts linked: 1 Outlook.com, 1 Gmail, and 1 Exchange for work.

I am on Verizon and I notice that there is an IMAP issue with aol on my BB. So far, I think was able to resolve the problem by deleting and reinstalling the e-mail account. However, when I go into my desktop Outlook, the same IMAP issue for AOL popped up again. Coincidence?

A friend just sent me this picture from her iPhone - so the "Gmail not connecting" issue isn't JUST a BlackBerry problem IMHO...
