    Hi Z30 fans!
    Is it normal for the Z30 to have much dimness to its display?
    Even on extra high bright setting, still seems a bit dim.

    In a way its good, because at least it does not strain my eyes...

    This was brought up at release time.

    I recentyl found out it's a software lock. It could be much brighter, but they tuned it down.

    Its OK. Its not too too dark.

    I think it's too bright at night sometimes. Doesn't seem to get bright enough or dim enough.

    I find it to be perfect for me. Not too bright, not too dim. At all times. The Z10 made me feel like I'd go blind 20 years before due time! *lol*

    Amoled is less bright than the ips lcd on some other phones.
    If you compare it to a galaxy s4 you will see the same results in direct sunlight

    YES! I totally agree with your statement. I just finished writing about how bright the Z10 can get so much so I kept it at half all the time.

    The Z30 has been perfect for me. I keep it at about 75%.

    Look! It's Zedzilla 30! ?

    50% here... which looks exactly the same as anything from 35-75% lol

    But do try this people: download Pass2U from Snap and launch the app. Just make sure to be in a dark room and have the Z30 brightness set to 100% when you do to maximise the effects.

    I set mine at the lowest brightness. Sometimes it looks bright as hell.
