    Are the contacts stored locally, or are the synced to an email account such as Gmail or Outlook.com? (I believe that only local contacts can be copied to the sim.)

    What OS version are you using? Settings > About > OS.

    No they are just name + number, not moving when I do the move to sim function + can't work out how to do it one by one even! OS is 10.2.1
