    The bottom speaker stopped working after screen replacement. Hard reset / reboot didn't fix the issue.

    You could try reloading the OS to see if that it is software related.
    You could try running BlackBerry Virtual Expert to test the hardware.
    You could try disassembling your phone to check if anything has some loose.

    But it might just be it died.

    Not a software issue. Just the golden connector may not be aligned properly. Disassemble the device and behind the new screen on the bottom where the mic is you'll find a flat looking plastic thing which is the mic connector. For the bottom speaker to work the ribbon should connect completing the circuit!

    Or maybe the screws after screen replacement are loose. Try tighten them !

    Sometimes one or the other will just die. Happened with my Z30 once. Fortunately, it can be repaired just by replacing the middle frame piece. Very simple to do, as you already know how to replace the screen. If they're still available, you can get the middle frame for about $10.

    Even after I got the middle frame and placed back the screen it didn't work so I went with a fresh OS install but also it didn't work. Only then I knew it's a hardware issue. So I lifted up the golden connectors and eventually it worked
