It is but people still complain about it for some reason. Doesn't really bother me, I boot my phone only if the battery dies.

Rebooting is one of those things that you never have to do, but when you do have to it's always at the worst possible time when you are in a huge hurry and have no time to waste.

I think the case is different in BB10 as one has to wait for the phone to boot and then the hub to load which takes 2-3 minutes, which is quite irritating. Yes, I rarely have to reboot the phone but it happens. Happened to happen with me yesterday; had to reboot the phone and then had to send an important email.

To be fair though you'd need to have the same apps, same setup and same OS version (likely) on both phones for a direct comparison.

Depending on the OS build, my Z10 has booted in less than a minute and on my current OS, when I've actually taken the time to look at the percentage while booting, when it hits 60% it skips to 100%.

I'm not saying the Z30 isn't faster as it technically faster, just that experiences will vary. Still can't wait to get my hands on one once the price comes down a bit.

I can live with the boot time of my Z10, as it's a massive improvement on legacy devices, but then the hub preparation borders on defeating the purpose of the quick boot.
