Switched from a Z10 to a Z30. kept both, they are pretty awesome. Well, Z30 is excellent in terms of sound, image, very elegant. But as I live in Paris France, carriers refused to sell it here...pushing iPhone 5s instead. As I am a stubborn animal, bought one from the UK, unlocked. Works with my carrier B&you (Bouyguestel.fr), but Orange France, SFR and B&you REFUSE TO UPGRADE THE Z30, arguing they did not sold it...yes, so no BBOS 10.2.1.537, still with 10.2.0.429. And no update via BB Link either.
As absurdly as it sounds, that is the situation. Sadly.

I feel ya in France. They don't sell them in the US either for the carrier I want. BlackBerry should have made one Z30 that would work with every possible signal. That way I'd get a Verizon and pop in a TMO sim. But for some reason they have to have a different phone for each carrier and I guess I just don't get it.

Would love to have a z30 but I think they are asking 2-3 times what it's worth. Plus no carrier support or guarantee it will work at all available speeds offered by my carrier.

Sucks.
