If not turning on mobile data, then mine will goes beyond 3 days.. if I on the mobile data, the longest I can get is around 32 hours like that.. still a beast!

Everything I normally use is enabled, no NFC or mobile hotspot. Albiet this test was over the weekend, less calls and data than during the week. My phone is mostly for work. I'm not a gamer, I did manage to play quite a few games of Pixilated. Still the monitor shows I have more than a day and a half left as it stands. That would total 4.5 days on a single charge. I just had to tell someone.

My brightness is up a bit, probably at 7.5 on a 10 scale and my idle time is 1 minute. It probably is true that my screen is off a lot. Using GPS in my truck I get turn by turn over the Bluetooth in the truck, so I don't need to look at the phone, the screen blacks out and stays that way. Same as when I take calls over the Bluetooth. So, to summarize, the system is using more battery than the screen because of extensive use of the Bluetooth.

I've been cranking this bad boy hard every day and it has never failed to last until I went to bed at 11:30 coming off the charger at 6:30 am.

You guys are lucky because after the most recent leaked OS update I only get 12 to 14 hours of heavy use. My "better half" on the other hand, gets about 2 days on her Z30. She is not a heavy user though and I only load official OS updates on her phone.

I can get about 8hrs of internet surfing non stop. (yes 8hrs on the phone/holiday nothing to do). Compared to my Z10 - 4hrs of continuous internet

Normal heavy use at work maybe 12 hrs. My z10 can never get past 6hrs unless I switch to 2G mode

Same here. Use to get 4 hours of heavy use on my Z10, about 6 hours regular use now with the Z30 I can get a good 8 hours heavy use and probably 10-12 hours regular use

Lol.. mine too..

Heavy use will last me about 12-14h daily. Lots of Internet, instagram refresh every 10-15minutes, channel, Bbm group, whatsapp group, CrackBerry and calls.
Being in sales, communications and updates are important.

But on weekends, not much activity, will last me around 24-26h.

Still a beast for a single charge phone.

The reason I figured it was that your screen brightness wasn't on full was because if your phone spent most of its time in standby, it would show Standby as the main usage.

Today marks my fifth day use with my Z30. I did the battery test today. Full charge (100%) from 5am and as at 9pm same today, it's at 24%. And I'm a great browser, checking Facebook, Twitter, CB, etc. Then music on the go, and camera snapping away sometimes. I'm so pleased.

My battery life is incredible. All day for 4am to 11pm doing emails and listening to apologize and I had like 60% when I went to bed. Where are u guys getting that usage graph

retuning the Z30 (VZW model). battery life is not what i expected. barely used it today, a few, very few text, a single less than 5 minute phone call, no browsing, i was at theme park riding roller coasters. by 2:00 pm i was at 30 % battery. i took it off the charger at 8 am. the battery has been through 2 full discharges and 3 full charges, all on wireless charging base (which is slow charging). i always close apps, nothing running in background that i can see. i liked the phone but not with this less than stellar battery life.

What apps do you have on it. For some reason the eBay app and whatsup app kills the battery. Also what Wireless charger are you using?

no eBay app installed and no what app installed. charging via the LG hocking puck wireless charging thingy.

Well this is worry some. I have had stellar battery life but just got the LG wireless charger. I hope the wireless charging is not contributing to your poor battery life.

After seeing OP's battery usage screen, I got a little concerned about my z30 and whether I got a defective device.
I purchased a brand new Z30 from Blackberry.com 2 days ago. The first day it lasted the whole day with moderate usage. Today i took it off the charger at 9am and at 12pm it was already at 80% with some browsing and tunein music play. The battery check shows only 12 hours with 81% left. Any ideas or opinions on this? The phone runs 10.3.1. Thanks

I wish I could achieve this. Have found that since going onto 10.3 update last week I have lost approximately 3 hours per day battery life. Am hoping it increases as OP system settles down.

Browsing does seem to use the battery. I'm not sure about the music app but if it streams, it might also consume the battery. Also, you might want to see how it performs over the course of 4 or 5 days to get more typical usage going.
