Has anyone from BlackBerry said why they won't sell these direct? Why are they refusing to sell to Americans? I want one but I'm not going to pay 600 for one. Once it's priced somewhere in the level of sanity I'd like to get one. By sanity I mean 200 USD

No one knows but I find it odd you ask, then say you won't pay for it even if it was offered anyway lol. Maybe that's why. You seriously want BlackBerry to sell you an unlocked Z30 directly for what some carriers are offering it for subsidized. In asking, I think you answered your own question. Why put it on there when people are used to subsidized pricing and will scoff at the $4-500 asking price anyway?

I'd pay $600 for a Z30... if it was on sale today and it worked perfectly with AT&T. There is a real availability problem here. This Verizon exclusivity thing is dumb.

Let me add that I'd pay 550 for a slider which is what I paid for my 9810. So I just want to be able to order all bb models unlocked. If not BlackBerry then through amazon. How can making some sales hurt? BlackBerry is just making things worse and worse for the US Market.

Utterly stupid even for employee discount they are $350 they won't go that low to sell to public. Lowest they will probably look if unlocked is 500 like how the q10 is going for.

I got a factory unlocked Z30 right from BlackBerry but after taxes cuz they are in ontario 13% it's 400.
