Hey Crackberry... I searched but couldn't find anyone with this issue. My Z30 (on Telus) is continually updating.

I get notified that there is an update, which it downloads and installs. It prompts me to restart. When restart is complete, it notifies me that a new update has been installed. It then downloads and installs the SAME update and prompts me to restart.

Anyone have any idea what's going on here or how I might start to troubleshoot this?

How large is the update?

And can you post a screenshot of Settings > About > Software, please?

I haven't got a "Software" option in the drop down... General, Hardware, OS, Network, SIM, etc... no "Software"

OP, why do you have an old radio installed? Did you originally do this update yourself, or was it pushed to you OTA?

Your update is the size of the proper radio file incidentally.

Edit: I should have read back, lol. thurask was about to tell you the same thing!

@conite... I have no clue why there's an "old radio" installed. I bought the phone used some months ago, wiped it and carried on.

Is there an action I can take to update it?

edit: (addendum) Also @conite... the software update shows as a "Radio" update. So perhaps that's part of the solution.

... I've turned off the auto updates. I'll wait for it to finalize, take a screenshot of the update available and post when I get it.

For some reason the new radio file is not taking.

Perhaps you should try using Sachesi and sideloading it yourself.

Or just turn off automatic updates, don't worry about it because it doesn't really matter, and wait for the next update in March.

Derp, meant OS. It's been a while.

You'd probably have to manually load the 10.3.2.2877 radio.

And that's the problem. For some reason, updating from 10.3.2.2639 to 10.3.2.2876 didn't bring over the new radio with it.
