There are some issues with this release so you might want to wait. There are some issues with Android apps and other things. There's a longer thread on "findings and fixes" that you might want to read.

    WELCOME to Crackberry.

Some phones are "programmed" so that they only work for a specific carrier and canNOT be used on another network. Those are LOCKED. If you put in a sim card from another carrier they will not work. In some cases you can get a code from the original carrier or may even be able to buy one from some 3rd party to unlock it. In other cases phones are not necessarily tied to any carrier and are UNlocked. The ones sold by BB directly are generally unlocked as sold.

In an oddity, Verizon's Z30's *cdma network) are UNlocked and can be used on some other gsm networks with limitations. I've read of them being used on some AT&T networks and they CAN be used in Europe with foreign sim cards. But you canNOT use any non-verizon phone on Verizon's network. And BB does not directly sell phones that work on Verizon's network.

My Z30 keeps asking to update but I don't think I will. I like the current version I have because "dark theme" is on a lot of applications that my Classic & Passport don't have.

I'm from Hungary and I have a Z30 (STA100-2, factory unlocked). I didn't get update. Yesterday I ask the BB Help that what's up? He told me that my device have the latest software. In my phone the version of software is 10.3.2.2474.
Today I make a factory reset but the system find this version only. Is it possible?

Definitely agree with you. Phone gets really warm and my last post on CB app cost me 4% Battery. 10.3.2.2789 was definitely the best build for Z30 in my opinion.

Yes, you can visit Crackberry's OS Leak subforum and find either what is called a BLITZ version or an Autoloader for the version you want. CAUTION There is a bug in the Android module that does not allow you to Delete Android apps if you don't want them.

    Yes, I finally got it...

...BE CAREFUL THOUGH RE: BATTERY LIFE.

The jury is still out re: that matter on my Z30. I'm watching it.

UPDATE: The battery life has improved after the suggested Hub "cleans" - I can't honestly say that made a difference, but I was desperate.

What I have done is as the experienced users in the forums always suggest: Reboot; once or more and allow time for "settling in".

The other thing is something I've noticed - and written about - with my Z30: Battery life gives better averages when the device is used more often, as opposed to letting it sit in Standby. I think Standby resources' consumption has actually gotten worse in this update too.

In comparison, my LG G3 can sit in Standby for what seems like forever. The minute I start using it though, I get 2-3 minutes/1%!
My Z30 was last charged 35 hours ago. I've used it 189 minutes. It has 48% life left. That's an average of 3.94 minutes/1%. That's up to twice as much!

@evaliket mentioned below, their battery life has become better.
