Hi All,

Three Z30s were purchased last week, originally installed with 10.2.1. Newest OS was installed right away, so now all have 10.3.2.2639. Two of them work perfect, but the third one has some issue with the mic.

The main issue is with the phone app. I guess it has two mics, one is the main, the second filters the background noise.

Test and results:
1. Phone app on handset, no voice is recorded, just background noise. Mute button eliminate background noise too. It seems primary mic does not work but secondary does.
2. Phone app on speaker, no issue, works fine
3. BBM call on handset and speaker, no issue, works fine
4. BBVE test runs perfectly, no issue
5. Parrot records all voices in perfect quality
6. Headset, no issue, works fine

I already did restart > turn off > soft reset > secu wipe > reload OS via link; same issue.
Now try to autoload 10.3.2.876, as downgrade to 10.3.1 is not possible anymore.

Unfortunately we didn't try it with 10.2.1, so hope it's only software problem.

sys.phone version is 10.3.2.313.

Do you have any idea? What else could I try? Is it possible to change sys.phone file somehow?

Hardware problem if reloading OS didn't fix it.

Just autoloaded the 10.3.2.2339 and works perfectly. I really don't understand as this OS uses the same phone app, sys.phone ver 10.3.2.313...
Try to autoload 2639 again, and if does not work back to 2339

It works with 2639 and after the restore as well. Great! Maybe it caused the device switch, my girlfriend came from Z10. Issue closed.
