    Hmm. I guess I'll call it the NSA icon. My wifi is off, never used miracast or direct wifi, I even rebooted the phone. Icon still there. NSA repeater it is. Funny, it's not in downtown NY city, I'm in rural Ohio lol

    Actually makes more sense hearing you're in a rural location. Instead putting up expensive towers the big providers often install extenders in public, underserved areas.

    Verizon BlackBerry smartphones since the 9930 have used that icon to indicate the connection.

    Again. Home or primary wifi. If not near either, than your location services are lagging. Try a restart.
